THE Burpengary Oblate youth group, north of Brisbane, is enjoying the company of all ages during worship and socially.

"We're still going strong," group member Rosika Flux said.

"We've been getting to do our own Masses (5pm on third Sundays of the month) ... putting our own twist on things - whether it be acting out the Gospel or just picking some awesome songs."

The group went out with the parish's "over 50s" on May 2 after Mass.

"It was really lovely to get to know more members of our parish," Rosika said.

Taking up face-painting at the parish fete yesterday (May 15), the group said they "couldn't be happier" and have planned a youth-ministered Mass for today (May 16) at 5pm.
