World leader of the Christian Brothers Br Philip Pinto has hailed the national launch of the Charter of Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) a momentous event. The charter, launched at St James College, Spring Hill, Brisbane, on August 22, has revised and refined the "Charter for Catholic Schools in the Edmund Rice Tradition" proclaimed by the brothers' province leaders in Australia in 2004.
