Hope on vocations front

THE many parishes and individuals in Queensland dioceses who have been praying for vocations to the priesthood have good reason to be excited about the news on the front page this week.

They will be pleased, not just about the fact that Holy Spirit Provincial Seminary is being extended to accommodate more seminarians but also about rector Monsignor Tony Randazzo's great hope and optimism for vocations, and about the young men showing interest.

There's plenty of reason there for adding thanks and praise to our prayers for vocations.
