Different classes of vulnerable children

Published: 2 October 2011

A WOMAN senator on TV, close to tears, talked about the rights and vulnerability of children, who come here on leaky boats and not accompanied by parents.

She preaches that we should give refuge to these children.

The lady concerned is one of the leaders of a party that relentlessly promotes destructive secular humanist policies, including abortion.

A sensible woman parliamentarian would argue that refugee children, for their own protection, should be sent back to their overseas parents.

Unless some of these women parliamentarians are prepared to reverse their attitudes towards babies, and the abortion policies of the parties to which they belong, I question their right to make policy for or to talk about the welfare of any children, refugee or not.
